The Resorts Atlantic City casino opened a new poker room in the main casino in May 2005. No-limit hold 'em tournaments are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm with a $50 buy-in (plus $10 entry fee). A special "Ladies Only" NLHE tournament is conducted on the third Monday of each month at 8pm. The buy-in for the ladies tournament is $40 + $10.The new poker room is located on the Boardwalk side of the main Resorts casino and offers both Texas Hold 'em and Stud poker.

The accommodations at Resorts Atlantic City were significantly expanded and upgraded in 2004 with the opening of the Rendezvous Tower. The 27-story tall tower contains the largest standard guest rooms in Atlantic City and 42 suites of over 1,000 square feet each. A health spa/fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, and outdoor deck provide plenty of opportunities for relaxation. Six restaurants provide both fine dining and more casual options.
